Entering Scorpio Season: A Time of Inner Reflection & Quiet Rebirth

Each year, as the Sun moves into Scorpio (October 23 – November 21), the energy begins to shift.
As the veil thins and the air deepens, the invitation turns inward.

Scorpio Season draws us inward, asking us to explore what’s hidden, to transform from within, and to trust the sacred timing of change. This is not the season for quick fixes or surface level changes, it’s a sacred descent, a time to meet ourselves beneath the noise.

As someone with a Taurus Moon, I naturally crave comfort, the familiar, the safe, the steady.

Yet every Scorpio Season reminds me: the only constant in life is change. Growth rarely happens in comfort; it blooms in surrender, in the quiet unraveling of what’s ready to be released.

This season asks us to pause, to breathe, to trust that endings are not losses, they’re beginnings in disguise.

The Energy of Scorpio

Scorpio rules transformation, release, death and rebirth, not the dramatic kind, but the subtle internal shifts that change everything.

Ruled by Pluto (planet of power, death, and regeneration) and Mars (planet of action and desire), Scorpio’s energy moves beneath the surface.

It’s what happens when you close your eyes and feel the truth you’ve been avoiding, when honesty becomes liberation.

This is “behind the scenes” transformation, the healing that happens in stillness, in journaling, in moments of solitude when no one’s watching.

And for many of us, it brings a tug of war between the part that wants to hold on (Taurus) and the part that longs to evolve (Scorpio).

Both are sacred. One grounds us, the other frees us.

Key Dates

Full Moon in Taurus – November 5th
This Full Moon highlights themes of comfort, value, and stability, illuminating where we’ve built our sense of safety and where we may be clinging to it too tightly.
It’s a moment to release attachment to what no longer supports your peace, to make space for new forms of abundance and security. Stay tuned for my Full Moon ceremony details.

New Moon in Scorpio – November 19th (20th in some time zones)
This is your cosmic reset, a time to plant intentions for renewal and emotional rebirth.
Ask yourself what parts of you are ready to be seen, transformed, or reborn.
This New Moon carries the alchemy of release, forgiveness, and empowerment.

These lunar moments act as checkpoints, helping us release under the Full Moon and renew under the New Moon.

As the Sun shifts into Sagittarius on November 21 (I love Sag season, two of fav people my sister and niece as Sag’s and I’m a Sag risining!), the tone lightens. We begin to integrate the lessons we’ve learned, moving from introspection to expansion, from shadow work to newfound clarity and faith, things begin to feel lighter as we prepare for the holiday season and integrate the lessons we’ve learned, moving from introspection to expansion, from shadow work to newfound clarity.

A Bigger Cosmic Picture: Pluto’s Shift & Collective Change

This Scorpio Season carries extra potency as Pluto, Scorpio’s ruling planet, shifts signs for the first time in nearly two decades, moving from Capricorn into Aquarius.
This rare transition marks a collective awakening: the move from control and structure (Capricorn) to innovation and freedom (Aquarius).

It mirrors what many of us are feeling personally, the dismantling of what’s outdated and the emergence of something more authentic. The systems and stories we once relied on are being rewritten. Pluto doesn’t destroy to harm; it clears to renew.

Alongside this shift, Saturn in Pisces calls us toward emotional maturity and spiritual discipline, while Neptune in Pisces continues to heighten intuition, compassion, and connection to the unseen.

Together, these cosmic movements remind us that transformation is both personal and collective, and Scorpio Season is where the deep integration begins.

From Inner Reflection to Expansion

This month isn’t about doing more, it’s about being honest with yourself.
Scorpio Season invites us to look into the shadow, to ask what’s truly working, and to make changes that align with our highest path.

Scorpio Season is a sacred in between. It’s not the action, it’s the preparation. Scorpio asks for presence, for truth, for emotional courage, honesty with self.
It’s the moment before the leap, the breath before Sagittarius Season asks us to stretch our wings and rediscover joy.

You don’t need to have the answers yet. You just need to be willing to see yourself clearly.

Let this month be a soft unraveling, a time to tend to your inner garden, to compost what’s no longer living, and to trust the quiet magic that follows release.
